Planting the berm at Eisenhower school

The Eisenhower Service Project and the Friends of Wyckoff sponsored two "plant-theberm" Saturdays at Eisenhower Middle School in May. Sixteen volunteers raked out rocks and planted wildflowers and perennials on the northern half of the 300-foot long, 8-foot high berm of leftover soil from the Eisenhower expansion. The plants were selected because of their ability to draw bees, butterflies, and birds.
