What do the Friends of Wyckoff want to accomplish over the next year?

  • continue to encourage smart growth and redevelopment
  • make certain there is proper stewardship of Wyckoff’s open space trust fund
  • ensure Wyckoff receives its fair share of open space grant funding from state, county and private sources
  • act as a watchdog to monitor new developments and redevelopment to ensure they adhere to Wyckoff’s zoning ordinances and Master Plan
  • sponsor environmental education programs for schoolchildren and adults
  • work to preserve our community’s historic character
  • encourage recycling and composting to reduce municipal waste disposal costs
  • increase environmental awareness and encourage planting of trees particularly to reduce ongoing increases in stormwater and local flooding

Join us so that we can continue to improve the quality of life in Wyckoff and protect our local environment. Friends members receive our quarterly newsletter by mail.
